Goldstein A Walk in the Woods for Solo Double Bass

Lloyd Goldstein, Double Bassist, resigned from his position with The Florida Orchestra after 21 years to begin a new career as a Certified Music Practitioner, playing therapeutic music at the bedside and in lobbies and waiting rooms at The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. One of Lloyd’s patients suggested the title for this original composition, “A Walk in the Woods”. Lloyd works with a wonderful team of expressive artists in The Arts in Medicine Program at Moffitt. One of his colleagues, Hollie Adkins wrote the following poem to perform with Lloyd’s composition, “A Walk in the Woods”. Hollie has written and performed several poems for Lloyd’s compositions.
