Chopin Largo from the Sonata for Cello, Op. 65 for Double Bass & Piano

The Largo is the third movement of the Sonata in G Minor for Piano and Cello, Opus 65 by Frederic Francois Chopin (1810-49). Chopin gave his last concert in Paris on February 16, 1848, before his death the following year. The program included this Sonata which was performed by Chopin and Auguste Joseph Franchomme (1808-1884), the French cellist who was an intimate friend of Chopin and Mendelssohn. The Sonata was dedicated to Franchomme by Chopin.
